I thought an email to be less intrusive than writing a letter or calling on the phone. (I located this email address from the web page for the National Free Flight Society). I'm doing personal genealogy research (i.e., my own) and am trying to locate a "Bob Hanford" (I'm assuming the name is Robert) who would have been in Dallas or Howe, TX around 1950. I think he would be approx. 75-80 years old now. I've found your name through various web searches. As you reside in the same general region and appear to be approximately the right age, I am writing to ask if you might be the person for whom I'm searching. I would very much like to hear from you -- with a yea or nay -- as to whether you are the Robert Hanford I'm seeking. I want to assure you that I do not intend to intrude in your life in any way; I am merely trying to solve a long-standing puzzle.
Warm regards,
|

Here is a message that I recently received... If she is for real, then we have another relative--I'm sure she would be very happy to hear from you, and the wealth of information that you can provide. Best wishes for the New Year and always, Bob |
